Betty was a beautiful, talented, giving woman who we will miss with every heart beat as we move forward in our lives. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother who loved and lived each and every day of her life.

She had a sense of adventure in her soul, and we know she is now on to the next adventure in her life. She also had a wicked sense of humor.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Forrest Dyer, by her son, Craig Dyer and her daughter, Sandra Dyer Weyand. Her son, Steven Dyer, passed away in 1993. Betty is survived by her sister, Dorothy Crabtree. Her brother, Wayne, passed away in 1985. She is also survived by her grand children: Shelby Elena Morris, Bradley Steven Morris and Olivia Ione Weyand. Her grandson, Bradley, will be married July 28th, adding another beautiful daughter, Lani Pedroza, to our family.

Did you know…

• Mom and Dad travelled the country square dancing, and they enjoyed Senior hostels;
• Loved bowling and bird watching, and
• A passionate volunteer working with children and reading.

As a wife and mother, she was known for her cooking. Never a short cut, all of mom’s foods were home made with love. She also made the best pie crust, ever, ever.

Betty was cremated, her ashes are being interred at Fort Logan Cemetery, a military cemetery, here in Denver, Colorado.
[Sign Guestbook] [View Guestbook]

http://ellisfamilyservices.com/pages/show_content.php?siteid=168&action=1&value=12&obituaries_action=2&obituaryid=143211

Kubat III, Joseph John, age 45, of Denver, on May 4th at 1:45 in the morning, our Joey left us. It is a Swedish custom after a death in the family to open the window and so the spirit can fly to the heavens and Joey took flight in a clear, starry night.

Joe was a huge lover of life. Joe was a surfer, a sailer, a snowboarder. He attended Arizona State University (with a semester off to work on a catamaran in Hawaii), then moved to Manhattan Beach, California. After a brief stay there, he worked for Club Med in Mexico and the Bahamas teaching sailing to children. Joe also lived in the Phoenix area before settling in Denver. Joe had a successful career as a sales Vice President including time at NeoPost and Parascript. He also enjoyed fishing and loved English Springer Spaniels. He had two of them, Chico and Walter.

In 45 short years, Joey made his dent in the universe through his humor and his tender heart.

We are so blessed that Joey knew how much he was liked and loved. We are so grateful Joey was in our lives and that in the end he was surrounded by friends and family and their love. So many of you have shared your stories about how fun and funny Joey was as well as what a sweet person he was.

Joe brought us all together and reminded us how important friends and family are and to focus on the important things.
[Sign Guestbook] [View Guestbook]

Lynette Elizabeth Lobb [05/30/1944 - 04/14/2013]

http://ellisfamilyservices.com/pages/show_content.php?siteid=168&action=1&value=12&obituaries_action=2&obituaryid=141932

Lobb, Lynette (Lynn) Elizabeth Olsen, passed to the loving arms of our Lord April 14, 2013. Lynn was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a kind and compassionate person who loved people. Looking down on others was not her way. She was a very good organizer and a strict rule-follower and was always fair. She eagerly shared her knowledge with others and was very patient in teaching them. Her wonderful sense of humor easily made folks laugh, but never at someone else’s expense. Lynn was loved by many and inspired many.

Lynn was born to Edward W. and Lynette C. (Lobb) Olsen in Columbus, OH and was raised in Englewood and Littleton, CO, attending schools in both. She graduated from Littleton High School in the class of 1962. She attended the University of Colorado for two years. After working a few years as a secretary, she was married to Al Johnson and raised their four children in Arvada, CO. In 1999, she began a twelve-year career at the American Water Works Association. She married Del Lobb, II in 2000, with whom she lived in Littleton, CO until her death.

Lynn had many interests and enjoyed learning new things. She was undaunted by new technology and she was not half-hearted about her interests. She enjoyed traveling, especially visiting national parks and lighthouses. She collected miniature lighthouse replicas and knick knacks and clothing having lighthouse designs. Lynn loved working puzzles, particularly crossword and Sudoku. Listening to country music, going to plays at Heritage Music Hall, and attending Celtic music gatherings were among some of her favorite activities. She took great pride in her jewelry and made annual visits to the stock show to discover new southwestern style jewelry. Very important to her was seeing family and friends. Attending church was central to her and her faith in God was strong. Recently many family and friends have echoed the fact that they have not seen Lynn more happy than during the last 13 years of her life that she has spent with her husband, and self-proclaimed, “love of my life”, Del.

Lynn is survived by her loving husband, Del Lobb, II, of Littleton, CO, sons Andy (Lori) Johnson and Dave (Ginny) Johnson of Arvada, CO and Gary Johnson of Westminster, CO, daughter Connie Johnson of Houston, TX, step-sons Del (Cheryl) Lobb, III, of Columbia, MO and Dan (Jen) Lobb, of Centennial, CO, step-daughters Debbie (Lance) Wendt, of Littleton, CO and Donna Lobb of Lakewood, CO, two grandchildren Drew and Austin Johnson, eight step-grandchildren Zach, Lyndell and Josh Wendt, Cayden, Gabriella, Jacob, Kelsey and Patrick Lobb. Lynn is also survived by her siblings, brother Ed C. (Marti) Olsen, of Littleton, CO, sisters Carolyn Parks, of Tulsa, OK and Cheri (Tom) Robinette, of Folsom, CA.
[Sign Guestbook] [View Guestbook]
